The four-year-old has won six of her 21 race starts and has earned more than $715,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

Quintessential has won both of her starts this winter carnival, with the first being in the Group 3 Chairman’s Handicap on May 11, 2013.

The Fast ‘N’ Famous mare is no stranger to success in Brisbane, having won the Group 1 Queensland Oaks here 12 months ago.

Quintessential is trained in New Zealand by John Sargent and will be looking to make it three wins in a row in the 2013 Brisbane Cup.

Also included in the 2013 Brisbane Cup nominations is Moriarty.

Moriarty has won eight of his 28 race starts and has earned more than $420,000 in prize money during his career.

The five-year-old finished fourth of six runners in the Eagle Farm Cup last start and will be looking to go three spots better in the 2013 Brisbane Cup.

Fibrillation and Precedence are also part of the 2013 Brisbane Cup nominations.
